Thread: ZWS alpha2 feedback

    Hej Martyn,

    Have you been able to start looking into Outlook 2016 on the Mac? As described here , Outlook seems to require 2010 SP2 or newer.

    I get the following log, when I try to connect:

    2016-02-08 22:06:12,062 10400:-4901d940 <xxx> [CRITICAL] zarafa_ws.frontend.request Request: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="" xmlns:t="" xmlns:m=""><soap:Header><t:RequestServerVersion Version="Exchange2010_SP2" /><t:MailboxCulture>de-DE</t:MailboxCulture><t:TimeZoneContext><t:TimeZoneDef inition Id="Romance Standard Time"/></t:TimeZoneContext></soap:Header><soap:Body><GetFolder xmlns=""><FolderShape><t:BaseShape>IdOnly</t:BaseShape></FolderShape><FolderIds><tistinguishedFolderId Id="publicfoldersroot"></tistinguishedFolderId></FolderIds></GetFolder></soap:Body></soap:Envelope>

    2016-02-08 22:06:12,063 10400:-4901d940 <xxx> [CRITICAL] zarafa_ws.frontend.request Response: <?xml version='1.0'?>
    <soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="" xmlns:xsd="" xmlns:xsi="">

    <t:ServerVersionInfo MajorBuildNumber="628" MajorVersion="10" MinorBuildNumber="0" MinorVersion="0" xmlns:t="" />
    <m:GetFolderResponse xmlns:m="" xmlns:t=""><m:ResponseMessages

    I've found some info from microsoft about the soap header to be as follows for Exchange 2010

    <t:ServerVersionInfo MajorVersion="8" MinorVersion="1"
    MajorBuildNumber="191" MinorBuildNumber="0"
    xmlns:t="" />

    What appears to me is that the Version="Exchange2010_SP2" (or whatever is correct with Version 10?) is missing in the ZWS response. Possible that Outlook stops, when not receiving back this properly?

    Hey guys,

    I'd like to ask you about your experience on the work load and response time ZWS causes on an apache installation.
    Actually, I'm using ZWS only with one single client (Mac Mail), but as soon as it connects, apache response with hosted websites dramatically slows down.
    I've checked long time now and this is not related to any heavy load the mail client may cause. it was nicely synced, no activities at all. Usually, the response is about 0.6 secs, but with a ZWS client connected, it will go up to 1.9 secs. This itself is barely acceptable for web visitors, but I do not want to think about what's going to happen if we have 20 users connected?

    Memory is not a bottle neck, I did check this as well as CPU load. Also this is still within a comfortable zone, at all times over 700-700K free, nothing swapped.
    The server is a shared host with Xeon E5-2680 CPU. (10 cores, 20 threads). Average cpu load is about 17-18, so also fine.

    Anyone with any experience, ideas or input?
