    conflicts: 1 shift/reduce building zarafa-7.1.5 on Qnap

    Hello,

since I encountered a problem I cannot solve () using the prebuild zarafa package for Qnap NAS servers I spend the last week trying to install zarafa-7.1.5 on my Qnap TS-469L by source.

After many hours playing with packages/includes/compilerflags/... I finally managed to successfully carry out the "configure" command. But now I stuck with a problem I might be unable to solve again. Running "make" produces the following error:
    ------------------------
    ...
    Making all in soapcpp2
    make[4]: Entering directory `/share/MD0_DATA/.qpkg/Optware/tmp/zarafa/zarafa-7.1.5/provider/tools/soapcpp2'
    YACC soapcpp2_yacc.c
    conflicts: 1 shift/reduce
    make[4]: *** [soapcpp2_yacc.c] Error 1
    make[4]: Leaving directory `/share/MD0_DATA/.qpkg/Optware/tmp/zarafa/zarafa-7.1.5/provider/tools/soapcpp2'
    make[3]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
    make[3]: Leaving directory `/share/MD0_DATA/.qpkg/Optware/tmp/zarafa/zarafa-7.1.5/provider/tools'
    make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
    make[2]: Leaving directory `/share/MD0_DATA/.qpkg/Optware/tmp/zarafa/zarafa-7.1.5/provider'
    make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
    make[1]: Leaving directory `/share/MD0_DATA/.qpkg/Optware/tmp/zarafa/zarafa-7.1.5'
    make: *** [all] Error 2
    ------------------------

I searched multiple hours for getting a solution to this. I found a note in the source file "soapcpp2_yacc.y" with might solve the problem since it states that "We expect one shift-reduce conflict ... If Yacc complains then remove the line above to allow Yacc to proceed". But unfortunately it did not help - the build process simply quits again with an error message on the same stage.

Right now I am pretty clueless what else can I do to compile zarafa successfully. Any help would be appreciated. Kind regards,
    no6una9a

I guess it's the version of bison: 2.5.1 on my QNAP, which fails indeed. When executing bison (2.7) on another linux machine (in ./external/soapcpp2):
    $ ../../autoconf/ylwrap soapcpp2_yacc.y y.tab.c soapcpp2_yacc.c y.tab.h soapcpp2_yacc.h y.output soapcpp2_yacc.output -- bison -y -d -v
    compilation proceeds.

Did you manage to build it in the end?
