CalendarImporter Error: File could not be moved to TMP path! Check plugin config..

    Hi,

I tried to import an Ical Calendar via Webapp plugin. The following error shows up:

<<< File could not be moved to TMP path! Check plugin config and folder permissions! >>>

How do I change folder permissions, or what config needs to be changed?

    Regards,

    akwarius

    Hi akwarius,

you can change folder permissions with the Linux tool chmod.

    Danke Felix,

As I am using Zarafa on my DS713+, is there a possibility to change permissions via DSM or an installable package?

    Regards,

    akwarius

No, not that I am aware of. These have to be done through the commandline in most cases.

    Danke nochmals,

wer braucht denn welche permissions?

    DAnke,

    Hi,

you can configure the temporary directory (where the plugin stores the uploaded files) in the config.php file. This file is located under <path to webapp>/plugins/calendarimporter/config.php.

You can change the path with this variable: PLUGIN_CALENDARIMPORTER_TMP_UPLOAD

This temporary directory needs to be writeable for your webserver. You can chmod it to 777 (chmod 777 dirname) or chown it to your apache user (e.g. chown www-data dirname).
On the diskstation use /tmp/ as temporary path... this should work.
