    Lightbulb WebApp 1.4 Feedback

    Dear WebApp users,

In order to correctly address all feedback to the WebApp 1.4 alpha, please provide all feedback in reply to this thread.
Please provide as much information as possible for each bit of feedback posted.
This way our WebApp developers can easily read through the feedback of the users.

Later on we will look into adding tags for users to be able to specify the version when creating new threads.

    Kind regards,
    Dominique Debyttere

Perhaps PHP is not installed? Works here on both Debian/RHEL.

This is a fully working Zarafa server and 1.3 works fine.

    After clicking login

    ssl_access_log

    work_ip_address - - [24/Jun/2013:14:47:09 +0100] "POST /webapp/index.php?logon HTTP/1.1" 303 -
    work_ip_address - - [24/Jun/2013:14:47:11 +0100] "GET /webapp/index.php HTTP/1.1" 200 17060

    ssl_request_log

    [24/Jun/2013:14:50:26 +0100] work_ip_address TLSv1 DHE-RSA-AES256-SHA "GET /webapp/index.php HTTP/1.1" 17060

That's it, from there I just get html output..

    ---------- Post added ----------

    rpm -e zarafa-webapp-1.4-42030.noarch
rpm -i zarafa-webapp-1.3.1-41348.noarch.rpm (webapp works fine)
rpm -U zarafa-webapp-1.4-42030.noarch.rpm (webapp just produces html)
    rpm -e zarafa-webapp-1.4-42030.noarch
rpm -i zarafa-webapp-1.3.1-41348.noarch.rpm (webapp works fine again)

    Hi Dominique,

I have installed WebApp 1.4 four days ago and I found only one issue so far.
I have two 3rd party plugins installed which do no longer work (respectively prevent the WebApp from initializing).
If I have plugins enabled the loading screen appears and is spinning infinitely.
    Javascript console reports:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot call method 'getAbout' of undefined
with a stack trace pointing at the first of the 3rd party plugins. Did the plugin API change with 1.4 or is this another issue?

    Best Regards,
    Holger

yes there is minor changes done to register a plugin/widget, now you need to use PluginMetaData/WidgetMetaData classes to wrap your plugin class before registering to the container, something like this

for more information you can check the webapp default plugins code

If i install webapp in a new empty directory (moved the old web before), i get in Apache error.log

    File does not exist: /usr/share/zarafa-webapp/plugins/webodf/webodf-lib/webodf-debug.js

    Restore Items

Tried to use "Restore Items" on my recyle bin. I got an "HTTP 500 Internal Server Error".
I deleted a lot of items from the recyle bin recently. Maybe it has something to do with the message.

    Kind Regards
    Tilman
