Adding calendar event (ICS) received via email

I forwarded an email to my Zarafa mail account that contains an ICS. Webapp shows the message in my inbox as a calendar event. If I open it via double-clicking, it brings up the standard calendar event dialog. However, if I click "save", the event never seems to get added to my actual calendar. In fact, I can't seem to find a way to add this event to my calendar at all, despite it opening and displaying perfectly.

    We're using WebApp 1.2.2 - ZCP 7.0.11-39120

The behavior seems to be the same with Webaccess, too.

    hey thoraxe,

The reason it doesn't work is that this feature has never been implemented. The fact that it doesn't work in webaccess just proves that this feature has never existed in webapp. Currently we are building webapp to take over the functionality of webaccess so if this is a function you need to use, unfortunately I don't see it being implemented soon. I have however taken this information and created a feature request for you so maybe in the future you might find that webapp does this.

    Hi,

This is a really, really standard feature. The fact that it is not here is troubling. Hopefully it has a relatively high priority. My guess is that this means that forwarded calendar invitations do not work, either?

    Hi,

Of course Zarafa is supporting meeting requests. However when the email and attached ics is not in an official meeting request standard, the webapp can not handle it.
There is indeed unfortunately not a way to import ics file from the webapp client itself, as this requires some conversion logic.

    Hi,

you can use my calendarimporter plugin.
With this plugin, you can directly import attached ics files to your calendar!
