Thread: Sabre-Zarafa 0.15: patches for Public Contacts support

  1. #21
Hi, I've seen this error before with OSX Contacts. If I remember correctly it's a misconfiguration issue. Just to be sure, could you please check the settings in the Preferences > Accounts > Server Settings window? Could you also verify in your server logs that OSX Contacts is actually making requests and getting responses? If this doesn't point to the problem, you could try turning on the debug logging, see the instructions in README.md for more. Or you could experiment with turning off eTag support on the webserver, as shown in the httpd.conf examples in README.md.

Thanks, I will let you know the outcome when I get to it, to do the debugging. I just had a look at the configuration and there is no path entered only the servers ip and the 8008 port, anyway the path entry is disabled

Hm, the log doesn't show the HTTP response codes, so it's difficult to see what's going on. All these lookups appear to be failing with an error message of some kind, all the responses are 126 or 127 bytes in size. OSX Contacts looks to be connecting with SSL, I assume that's enabled in the server config?

Guys, shouldn't we make a proper issue on github issue tracker () and continue there?

  5. #25
I would in fact prefer that.

Everyone, please be aware that this thread is dormant, I moved announcements and such to the .
