Thread: Unable to display tasks in Thunderbird

    Every time i set the loglevel to 6 and restart the server, the loglevel is reset to 2 and I don't get a log file. How can I restart the service only to test if its not reseted

    Are you sure that you save the config file? Do you have permissions to save the config file?

    I changed the ical.cfg like that and restarted the servide with /etc/init.d/zarafa-ical restart
    but there is no ical.log

    Hello Goofy,

    Then there is something wrong with your system :S. Do you have the folder /var/log/zarafa/? Are there any other logs in that folder?

    Yes there are a lot of upgrade logs.
    How could I reinstall the ical-service?

    I did it, but nothing changed.
    But if I start the service like that
    Iḿ able to access my tasks. But there is no logfile written so that I could find the problem why I'm not able to access the tasks of other users witch I'm able to see in the webfrontend

    I am having this same issue. Calendaring works fine with T-Bird 14/Lightning 1.6, Tasks does not. OSX Lion iCal works with both calendaring and tasks. Zarafa 7.0.4. I am seeing this error.

    For tasks in Thunderbird you need to add a special "calendar" for just for tasks:
