WebAccess error with IDN domain names

    Hi,

i noticed a problem when trying to send an email to a IDN domain. WebAccess reports "Please input a valid email address!"

Seems Zarafa/WebAccess doesnt like IDN domains. I found nothing related to this issue on the forum. Zarafa version is 7.0.3-30515 on 10.04 Ubuntu LTS 64bit together with an Zentyal installation - if this info matters.

Any ideas what can be wrong here? I allready installed php5-idn package to try to fix it.

    Yours,

    entirenet

    Hi entirnet,

how you've tried to enter the domain name? Did you write the name in punycode convention or did you type it in readable way? As far as I know the webaccess code there is no conversion to punycode implemented. Without punycode the domain name will for sure be claimed since webaccess parses the email address itself to see if it is valid or not.

Using Zarafa 7.2.5-29, Z-Push 2.3.4 with GZip and soon again SMS Support.
