    Outlook 2010 Subscribing to Mailboxes

    Hello

When installing Zarafa Client 6 on Outlook 2010 (WIndows XP Pro SP3), and installing as "Other mail server type", the primary account works perfectly. Then when attempting to add additional mailbox subscriptions, names are selectable, but when submitting Outlook throws an error and the names are not subscribed to.

    Has anyone overcome this fault?

    Thanks

    Hi pinbellcom,

and with subscribing, you mean open folders via the option "open shared folders" , am I correct?

    cheers,

    Hello,

I am having the same problem. Default Zarafa account works great. But when I want to add a shared store, outlook throws an error. (That a required component is missing.)

Is there a solution for this?

    Thanks.

    cheers,

Re: Outlook 2010 Subscribing to Mailboxes

It's the same issue as mentioned in this topic:

Since I have a dutch version of Outlook, I don;t know the exact word of the error. But it throws a error, that the action could not be completed because there is a component missing. (See above topic, there is the error in German.)

In this case, I solved the problem, I installed Outlook 2007 first, added the account with also the shared folder, and installed Outlook 2010 which kept the settings of Outlook 2007. Seems to be running now.

    Thanks.

Re: Outlook 2010 Subscribing to Mailboxes

In outlook 2010 to add delegate stores with Zarafa you must use the Zarafa dialogs, and not the standard option to open-anotherusers-folder.
This functionality has not been implemented fully.

The access to delegate stores can be configured via the integrated Zarafa toolbar function, , select the ZARAFA tab then “Open Shared Folders”. In the presented selection box the user and access type can be selected.
