    possible download archive corruption?

    Hi,

I just wanted to upgrade to community version 6.40.7 for ubuntu-10.04-i386.
Downloaded and unpacked the archives, upgraded the server, all ok.
But, on upgrading the outlook client, I got a message "the msi member file disk1.cab is damaged ...".
Ok, I thought, download again, maybe a download problem. But no change.
Next try - get the "full version", unpack, and install the outlook client from this. but the error remains.
Next try - download again to other pc, maybe this has a harddisk problem. But - on the ohter pc the same behaviour.
Next try - get download not from download centr, but from "browse download index", there only the windows/zarafaclient.msi. And see, it works with this msi on both pcs.

So that leaves the conclusion, that the both Ubuntu-10.04-i386 tarballs do contain a damage in the zarafaclient.msi .

    Hello Michael,

I checked it and the file is corrupt.
I will check how we can fix it.

    Re: possible download archive corruption?

    Hi Robin,

thanks for the confirmation of my suspicion.
I wonder why noone else has found this - it's out for nearly 2 weeks now. But maybe nobody runs on Ubuntu10-32bit ...
The solution might be quite simple - just blend the "standalone client" into the archives.

The file is still corrupted. (attempting install under Windows7 32-bit extracted from recent archive 6.40.7).
