    I import an ical file and all times are wrong

    I followed the instructions at http://www.zarafa.com/wiki/index.php/Im ... nto_Zarafa to import an ical file into my calendar.

    After I do this, everything has the wrong time. It is clearly in GMT even though my server is US Eastern and my client is US Eastern. On the Web it is also wrong.

    This same file I have imported into Evolution and it imports at the correct time. I even tried exporting it from Evolition to ical and uploading that file instead since Evolution had the right times and that also was wrong. Am I missing something?

    I set my ical.cfg to have this setting as well to make sure it was the right time.

    server_timezone = US/New_York

    Thanks for any help you can give me.

    Hi Weaselgod,

    by client you mean, your operating system or ical-client, in this case evolution?
    I have no problems importing ICS files in Sunbird, can you try this?

    cheers,

    Suyi

    Re: I import an ical file and all times are wrong

    I have tried Evolution and Lighting (which is basically sunbird). That is what I mean by client. I am not sure why it does not import to the right timezone. If I create individual records with Lightning, they show up fine, it is only when I send them in bulk that they seem to not work properly.
