    Hello,

    imap_capability_idle = yes

    I tried both, always_generate yes and no...

    Hello Stril,

    That is very strange I cannot reproduce it here. Al mails that I send are received ok. All kind of attachments are used.
    How is the mail sent/delivered? Any other source then Zarafa?

    Greetings,
    Robin

    Hello,

    the mail is received via postfix and delivered as described in the wiki:
    zarafa unix - n n - 10 pipe
    flags= user=vmail argv=/usr/bin/zarafa-dagent ${user}

    The easiest way to reproduce that behavior in my environment is getting mails, created by hylafax

    Re: Thunderbird 2.0.0.24 and broken attachment downloads

    hi,

    we have the same problem here. it seams that this only occurs with larger attachments?!
    clients report this bug when using IMAP (we use mostly IMAP, not POP3) and Thunderbird 3.1.x and Seamonkey 2.0.x on Windows & Linux.

    sent 2 damaged example mails to support AT zarafa
    do you need logs as well? (would there be any infos in the logs?)

    regards,
    axel

    Hello Axel,

    Are these items with the set: imap_max_messagesize?

    You could check if the log contains errors.

    Re: Thunderbird 2.0.0.24 and broken attachment downloads

    hi robin,

    thanx for you quick reply!

    hmm, well the setting is:
    imap_max_messagesize = 134217728
    (which should be 128MB, correct?)

    but the damaged mails range from 500k up. at least i think they start at 500k.
    i told the users to open the concerning mails in the webmailer, store the attachment in our NAS archive.
    most mails are delete right afterwards...

    the log is maybe at too low level, hence the only "not standard" lines are:

    Di 28 Sep 2010 14:29:32 CEST: [20718] Unable to open rtf-text stream. Error: 0x8004010F
    Di 28 Sep 2010 14:29:32 CEST: [20718] Unable to open plain-text stream. Error: 0x8004010F
    Di 28 Sep 2010 14:29:32 CEST: [32351] Unable to open rtf-text stream. Error: 0x8004010F
    Di 28 Sep 2010 14:29:32 CEST: [32351] Unable to open plain-text stream. Error: 0x8004010F

    i think this is not helping you, is it? sorry.
    i will set the gateway.log logging to a higher level - just gateway, right?

    keeping you informed, thanx

    Ours are outside the DB. Compression is enabled.
