    missing appointments after ICS import

    Hi,

I am running the latest version of Zarafa 6.40-20653, and am attempting to import an ICS file into my calendar. The import works each time, however, as a result, it removes some of my existing appointments.

I have tried several different ICS files, and there are no errors in the ical.log file (as the import is working fine). The files are available from here:

I have even tried setting up a new account, with just 3/4 appointments in the calendar. When I import the same file, it deleted all the existing appointments!

I am running Debian 4.0 and access my calendar from within Zarafa Webaccess.

i have noted that on there are reports that large ICS files cannot be imported successfully, which I initially thought was my problem but I get the same problem when I trim the ICS file down to just one entry.

Could someone please tell me what I am doing wrong? Apologies if this has already been covered elsewhere but I have looked hard and can't find anything about it.

    Andrew

Re: missing appointments after ICS import

    Hi Andrew,

Which application are you using to import the ics file?

I have tried with sunbird which resulted in some errors(data was not imported) and with curl(which gave no problems when importing them).
I have tried with several .ics files from sportcal.telegraph.co.uk, but after all import, no appointments were deleted.

To get a more verbose output of the ical.log, please increase the log_level to 6.

maybe we are able to help you better if you post the output of your ical.log.

    cheers,

    Suyi

    Hi Suyi,

Thanks for the response. I used curl to import the ics file.

Here is a copy of ical.log set to log level 6:
    Look forward to your suggestions!

I also have the problem. Unfortunately, even after an update to version 6.40.7-26119 done nothing. The error is still negative.
What about the ticket, there's already something new?
