    Notifcation when users log in

    My situation:
I am writing a Zarafa mapi client(under GPL), which must do some action when users move mail, from or to a Junk folder. It is working for 1 user..

    Question:
Is it possible for my Zarafa mapi client to receive an event(notification) when an user logs in or do I need polling?

No, there are only notifications using the mapi notification system, but that is not what you want here. Polling is really not what you want, since every click in the webaccess does a logon and logoff. You will miss those.

I'd suggest you use the ICS system. Get a sync id for all junkmail folders of every user, and query the changes using those sync ids.

Examples can be found in Z-Push, or the zarafa-indexer (6.40)
If it isn't reproducable, it's not a bug.
If it is reproducable, it's meant to be that way.
