    Zarafa client and IMAP account

    Hi,

    If you have an imap account in the same profile as a Zarafa account (a different IMAP mailbox, not connected to the Zarafa acount...), opening the root folder of the IMAP account will make Sync and Configure buttons no longer work (there is no error, just nothing happens). The buttons do not work even when returning to Zarafa Inbox and Outlook has to be restarted for Synchronizing to work again...Tested with latest 6.30.12 client (I still use 6.30.5 server, but have updated the client to the latest version to retest the issue) and Zarafa is set to Cached mode.

    Hello Sasos,

    Please correct me if I am wrong:
    1. Have a cached profile (zarafa).
    2. Add a imap account (lets say gmail).

    result: Sync button does not work.

    I will have this tested.

    Yes, this is correct. The sync button stops working when I open the root folder (the folder above Inbox) of the IMAP account tree (where Outlook says: Cannot display the folder. This is the root of an IMAP store). The buttons do not work even when later returning to the Zarafa Inbox folder.

    have you got a link to that ticket?

    I have the same problem. Using Outlook with _any_ other mailboxes or email accounts seems to cause Outlook to crash.
    The only way I could get Outlook to play nice with Zarafa backend was to delete all other accounts and mail boxes (pop,.pst etc). Then everything works fine.

    Hello Peter,

    Our ticket tracker is for internal only. I will test if outlook crashes with other accounts and add the info to the ticket or create a new one.

    Hi Robin,

    Update for you....it does not work with 'MS Outlook Connector' either. (i'm not 100% sure what this is..i think it's something to do with MSN email integration)
    I had to uninstall this from my pc to get outlook to display my zarafa emails.

    Hello Peter,

    Yes there are known issue of outlook and multiple plugins. If you install the Zarafa plugin first then you will be safe for the Zarafa part.
