    Re: passwd plugin

Please have a look inside the passwd/dialogs/pwdchange.php file and find the $passwd_cmd line. Check if zarafa-passwd resides in the path written in there. In case you use other plugin than the db plugin for users, you have to update this file.

    Best regards

    Re: passwd plugin

    hi guys,

I installed this plugin and it's great but when I submit to change the password, another box is pop up asking the user name to be change. There are severals names which are different from my zarafa uer list and whatever i select it works.
What is the purpose of this additional window ? Could'nt we remove it ?

    tks,

    Xavier

This is no real problem - it is firefox behaviour in case you save identities...

    Re: passwd plugin

Appears to work fine in 6.40 RC1, apart from the tab being a little too wide making it end up on the next line of tabs

    Re: passwd plugin

Will check it during weekend and try to put a fix in for next passwd plugin release. Could be that simply a resize of the settings window will help since (if I remember right) the 6.40 has additional tab in settings dialog for something...

    Best regards

    Re: passwd plugin

We took this excellent plugin and extended it a little bit ;-)
This version now features the possibility to change the password in an openLDAP Server Backend directly using the same PHP interface.

In addition logging, configuration and logrotate are included for free ...

Please download the RPMs: from here:

    Re: passwd plugin

No we took our extended zarafa-ldap-passwd, pls. see previos post, for a spin and turned it into a Samba version.

This version now features the possibility to change the password via a Samba server directly using the same PHP interface.
If that Samba server uses e.g. the same openLDAP as the Zarafa server does, everything is kept in sync.

In addition logging, configuration and logrotate are included for free ...
These have been tested more thoroughly that the ones form yesterday ;-)

Updated to 0.3-3: This version handles special characters as well, that would otherwise confuse the shell:
    These should work:
These will not work since I need some characters for quoting myself:
Please download the RPMs: from here:
    RPM:
    SRPM:
    Here are the MD5SUMs:

    Re: passwd plugin

    Hi

First thing i want to say is....Great addon 8-) :!:

The sad thing is (for me anyway) is that i have a separate server install.
I have a Web server, Zarafa Postfix Mail server, and a Database server....so i cant use the zarafa-passwd util because it's on the mail server and not on the web server. And i haven't found a way to tell zarafa-passwd to use an IP address to communicate with zarafa server....if thats in any way even possible.

Can this addon be in any way adapted to the mapi way of doing things, like mapi_zarafa_setuser?
