Thread: No Subfolders Thunderbird

  1. #11

    Re: No Subfolders Thunderbird

Well I don't really need public folders since this is a single user install  but I will add some to see if it solves the problem!

I tried once again to subscribe to those folders but Thunderbird does not find any folder to subscribe...

Vincent, did you do something "special" to your thunderbird configuration or is it an "out-of-the-box" install ?

RoundCube - another web client connecting through IMAP - can see those folders so it probably is a Thunderbird configuration issue. Horde/IMP also see those folders.

    Hi Zeguigui,

Please provide the screen shots so we can get a clearer picture of what is going wrong. Yet again tested it and able to subscribe to all folders and sub folders.

    Re: No Subfolders Thunderbird

Sorry I did not find time to make the screenshots... days are too short!

The good news is that Zarafa 6.30.3 solved this issue for me (I can see the subfolders from Horde/Imp so I believe it will work with any IMAP compliant client).

I will have to find a good way to make Thunderbird use the "correct" special folders but that is another topic

    Re: No Subfolders Thunderbird

More then one Year l8er. Upgrade to 6.40. But this problem ISN'T SOLVED.

A fresh subfolder created under the mainfolder made in webaccess is not shown in thunderbird (3.1.7). But subfolders made within Thunderbird are working in webaccess.

    Mybee any news about this??

    Hello Web4you,

This is a Thunderbird problem. There are some more topics here on the forum with workarounds.
