howto disable a user account in zarafa

How can I best disable a user account in zarafa?

I want to do it as administrator.
    - put an out of office message for the user
    - deny incoming mail into his mailbox.

The account may not be deleted because then the out of office won't work anymore?

    thanks.

Depending on what system you are using for your user management you could let your mda do the bouncing part.

I don't believe zarafa has a disable function at the moment.
One can always change the password for the given user so that he/she can no longer login.

    Is this a solution?:
    Change password of the user
Set the out of office message for the user
Make a rule to send incoming mail to "Deleted items"

My ldapplugin is configured to only list users that have ZarafaAccount enabled. So disableing that locks the user out.
Bouncing can be done on the postfix level.

    Hi,
I'll give the ldap change a try and see if that works.
bounces will idd have to run from the mta.

too bad there is no zarafa switch to do all this at the same time.
A trigger in ldap would be nice.

    thanks,
    L

Changing the LDAP attribute isn't a good idea since that will move the user outside of the scope of Zarafa after which Zarafa will delete the store.
Mark's suggestions will prevent the store deletion.
