    Frustrating Caldav/Carddav Issue

    Hi,
    I am new to the world of z-push. I am using a combined backend on Ubuntu 16.04. The Email (IMAP) element is working fine and syncing well. I can't seem to get the caldav and the carddav elements working. At the moment I am most interested in the caldav (although I suspect the two are related).

    I am using the Nine email client on Android for testing and have debug (WBXML) logging enabled. I am not sure which parts of the log anyone will require to help so please let me know.

    The caldav configuration appears to be correct as in the logs I can see it pulling the folder Hierarchy correctly, so I am really at a loss as to why the calendar / contacts aren't appearing. The two "errors" I seem to be able to pull out are:

    24/03/2017 19:21:57 [ 1905] [DEBUG] [[email protected]] [nine3551124xxxx] SyncObject->Check(): Fixed object from type SyncFolder: parameter 'displayname' is set to 'Unknown' and

    24/03/2017 19:29:43 [ 1905] [DEBUG] [[email protected]] [nine3551124xxxx] BackendCalDAV->ChangesSink - Not initialized ChangesSink, sleep and exit

    The authentication appears to be working fine.

    Any pointers would be more than welcome!

    Thank you.

    Michael

    Hi Michael,

    from what you posted it's not possible to tell what is going wrong. We need the full WBXML log.

    Please do not PM me asking for support. Use the forum instead. Thank you.
    I usually check the mobility thread at the end of the day, so please have some patience if there's no immediate response. Asking to look at certain thread per PM won't result in a faster answer.

    Thank you for the response. My full log file from first sync can be found here https://neo.theangel.net/michael.log. I tried copying it into the forum but it was too big. I removed the user from Z-Push and deleted the account from my phone and started again.

    Hi ,

    there are a bunch of errors when trying to sync calendar and contacts, e.g. at 25/03/2017 13:01:07:
    Code:
    25/03/2017 13:01:07 [11128] [WARN] [[email protected]] [nine3551124fxxxx] /usr/share/z-push/include/z_caldav.php:666 Undefined index: DAV::href (8)
    25/03/2017 13:01:07 [11128] [WARN] [[email protected]] [nine3551124fxxxx] /usr/share/z-push/include/z_caldav.php:667 Undefined index:  (8)
    25/03/2017 13:01:07 [11128] [WARN] [[email protected]] [nine3551124fxxxx] /usr/share/z-push/include/z_caldav.php:525 Undefined index:  (8)
    25/03/2017 13:01:07 [11128] [WARN] [[email protected]] [nine3551124fxxxx] /usr/share/z-push/include/z_caldav.php:527 Undefined offset: 5 (8)
    25/03/2017 13:01:07 [11128] [WARN] [[email protected]] [nine3551124fxxxx] /usr/share/z-push/include/z_caldav.php:528 Undefined offset: 5 (8)
    This leads to the caldav backend being unable to get the correct foldernames:
    Code:
    25/03/2017 13:01:11 [11128] [WBXML] [[email protected]] [nine3551124fxxxx] O    <FolderHierarchy:Add>

    I don't have any idea why it doesn't work and whether this is an issue with your caldav/cardav servers or an issue with Z-Push. These backends were community contribution and I'm not very familiar with caldav/carddav servers and Z-Push backends for caldav/carddav.

    Are there any errors in apache log files?
