Any way to see real user IP in server log?

    Hello devs and community!

When someone tries to login, I see in zarafa server log file such strings:

Wed Mar 8 19:07:20 2017: [warning] Authentication by plugin failed for user "a": Trying to authenticate failed: a not found in LDAP; username = a
Wed Mar 8 19:07:20 2017: [warning] Failed to authenticate user "a" from "file:///var/run/zarafad/server.sock" using program "apache2"

Any way to see the real user IP so I could send fail2ban to hunt these attempts down and stop them in firewall?

    running latest zcp and zarafa-webapp

    Hello Romanr,

the server.log will always only show the ip of the client connecting (in your case the ip of the webserver). You can find the ip of the user in the apache logging.
