    other users calendars "can not be updated"

    Hello,

    we recently managed to finally update to zarafa server version 7.2.1 ... (from 6.40.17 ... no comments on that please)

    Everything is smooth so far. But we are not able to see other peoples calendars anymore. Only way is connect the complete user to the outlook client to see his calendar.

    All other get the message that the calendar was not able to be updates and they see a blank calendar.

    any suggestions what I should do? Upgrade to 7.2.4 (no problem now, since the db upgrade has been done now...) ?

    Hi mwmail,

    "calender could not be updated" is in most cases a client side issue. Which version of Outlook and (most importantly) which version of the Zarafa Mapi client are you using? Updating to 7.2.4 would also not hurt, but maybe directly go for 7.2.5.

    Hello fbartels,

    my Outlook version actually is 2010 / 14.0.7167.5000 . I have tried zarafa Mapi client version zarafaclient-7.2.4-52167 and zarafaclient-7.2.1-51992 so far.
    But only on my Client! Or is there also need on the "remote" client, which calendar I want to see?


    BTW where do I find the 7.2.5 msi / windows client? I can not find it on the portal.

    ok, in meantime I have also tested Outlook 2013. It is the same. "konnte nicht aktualisiert werden" .

    Any other options to check? Where do I find the 7.2.5 client?

    The latest one can always be found at

    I have just looked into the sources and every client >52065 should include support for this Outlook version (the 2010 version you posted here). is there maybe an outlook.exe.txt lurking around around in $installdir/compat? If so just delete and try again.

    And yes, the "calendar could not be updated" is a client side issue with the local client trying to open the calendar.

    No, does not work. There is no "outlook.exe.txt" in that Folder. I had this with my outlook 2013 now, deleted it , restarted but no calendar. Stil lthe same message

    In that case please get into contact with our support. Today we are still quite busy with our Kopano Conference, but I'm sure we can find a timeslot for tomorrow to do a remote session to investigate.
