    automaticlly disable zarafa user if user inacvtive

    Dear All,

    I am using zarafa 7.1.2 OSE and its working great
    there is a urgent requirement of the below

    any of the email users who dont use or log in to their email for about a fixed no of days to automatically disable the user account

    I have used zadmin to create the zarafa users

    greatly appreciate if some one could advice and help me

    Hello Simon,

    hmm I thought I replied to , but it seems not. Such a function greatly depends on your user backend (and what you actually want to do, e.g. disable mail delivery, disallow the user to login, delete the user/inbox, ..). I good start for you would be the "last logon" from "zarafa-admin --details". Or you could use "zarafa-stats --users", its the column titled "0x66A20040".

    dear felix,

    really appreciate your quick helpful reply. infact i did not get any reply from you and i also realased i had posted this in zarafa administration and not in zadmin sub forums.
    sorry for that

    i have used zadmin web interface to create all my users so defaults it uses ldap back end

    infact i want to disable the user login
    appreciate your kind advice

    then its probably the easiest to just change the password of the user to something new. explains how to do this.

    dear felix,

    thanks so much fr ur immediate reply .. and wise reply
    as i said i would need to automatically disable login i think i would need some script to do this. am i right
    is there some sort of pluggin available or appreciate some advice

    im poor in scripting

    I am not aware of any pre made solutions, but writing a script for this should only take a few hours. If you like you can contact our sales team for an offer.
