    delete mail directly in database

    hi there

du to a misconfiguration i now have almost 40.000 mails in the inbox.
    deleting them would take ages...

is it possible to delete these mails directly in the database?

there are a lot of mails i can recognise via subject and i received all mails yesterday - so i can query them via the received date.

but will happen if i delete dem via mysql command?

You should not do that. The best way to get rid of them is to use python-mapi. You can find some examples in the zarafa-tools Github account.
