    I would try the following. ( !! to remember !! my setup is a Multi domain zarafa setup like this one : )

    Your error.. .
    > virtual_mailbox_domains = $virtual_mailbox_maps
    > virtual_mailbox_maps =

    If you server is not recieveing mail localy and only dropped in zarafa.

    mydestination = localhost.domain.tld localhost

    now setup something like this :

    virtual_alias_maps = mysql:/etc/postfix/mysql/mysql-users.cf,hash:/etc/postfix/map/mysql-virtual-alias.map
    virtual_mailbox_maps = mysql:/etc/postfix/mysql/mysql-users.cf
    virtual_mailbox_domains = mysql:/etc/postfix/mysql/mysql-domains.cf
    virtual_transport = lmtp:127.0.0.1:2003

    If you not use zarafa multidomain setup,
    virtual_mailbox_domains = your-email-recieving-domain.tld

    and few corrections for you ssl setup.
    Try them, if the dont work, then thats a postfix version problem ( 2.11 Debian Jessie for me )

    ## secure and compatible, if you want very secure and less compatible, google on name Victor in the postfix list about 2 months ago.
    # outgoing connections: smtp
    smtp_tls_protocols = !SSLv2,!SSLv3
    smtp_tls_ciphers = medium
    ## email to Exchange 2003 servers set :smtp_tls_exclude_ciphers = MD5, SRP, PSK, aDSS, kECDH, kDH, SEED, IDEA, RC2, RC5
    smtp_tls_exclude_ciphers = MD5, SRP, PSK, aDSS, kECDH, kDH, SEED, IDEA, RC2, RC5
    smtp_tls_security_level = may
    smtp_tls_note_starttls_offer = yes

    # incoming connections: smtpd
    smtpd_use_tls = yes
    smtpd_enforce_tls = no
    smtpd_tls_protocols = !SSLv2,!SSLv3
    smtpd_tls_ciphers = medium
    smtpd_tls_exclude_ciphers = MD5, SRP, PSK, aDSS, kECDH, kDH, SEED, IDEA, RC2, RC5
    smtpd_tls_eecdh_grade = strong
    smtpd_tls_ask_ccert = yes
    smtpd_tls_ccert_verifydepth = 2
    smtpd_tls_security_level = may

    Greetz, let us know if it worked for you.

    I did a setup with
    and removed the mydestination line. Now I get:
    The query in mysql-users.cf is:
    and using it manual on the mysql console, the user was found

    Check if lmtp is running.

    netstat -ntap | grep 2003
    tcp 0 0 127.0.0.1:2003 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 1302/zarafa-dagent

    and check in /etc/default/zarafa for
    DAGENT_ENABLED=yes
    DAGENT_CONFIG=/etc/zarafa/dagent.cfg
    DAGENT_OPTS="-d"

    the -d is what you need for dagent to run lmtp

    If the error message is "User unknown in virtual mailbox table;" then there is an error in the user lookup and not in the delivery to zarafa-dagent.
