    Cool New Zarafa clients available for Updates KB2965291 and KB3039799 (12th May 2015)

    Dear customers, partners and community,

    Hereby an update for the Zarafa client which restores the collaboration feature just released less than 5 hours ago.

    Microsoft updated Outlook 2010 which disabled our collaboration features (shared calendar and contact ribbon of public folder addressbook). With this new client, we restore these features.
    Outlook 2013 was updated from Microsoft as well, but with the new auto-detection technique introduced an update is not required to restore functionality - but is still recommended for future updates.

    Affected versions:
    - OL2010 - KB2965291 - 14.0.7149.5000
    - OL2013 - KB3039799 - 15.0.4719.1001 (2013), not required - but recommended

    The new client is made available for Zarafa for Home and commercial Zarafa customers via the following links (portal account required):

    After installing the MS updates and zarafaclient-7.2.1-49543.msi, the shared calendar still shows it can't update.
    This is with zarafa-7.2.0.48204-211.1.x86_64 and Outlook 2010 14.0.7149.5000 on Windows 7 x64.
    I already tried repairing the zarafaclient-install, but that doesn't make a difference.

    but the latest is zarafaclient-7.2.1-49564.msi, can you try to install that client? 49543 is an old client.

    I'm sorry, you're right! That one works.
    I only lokked at the date, not the time of the client. Hence I thought it was the same version as the one posted earlier yesterday.

    Yesterday OL2010 don't start up any more i get a popup "cannot open your default e-mail folders" after i download the latest Client 7.1
    and installing it outlook stil want to start up and i get the same popup.
    When i check the settings of my email account i get the message "unable to reach server" My server is on a synology NAS and worked fine
    webapp works also. But i don't get OL2010 running with the latest client.

    I tried IMAP on thunderbird then I can get connect to the zarafa server. Are there more Problems with OL2010 and the client and zarafa server

    Hi,

    if you use an offline store (caching mode) try to delete the offline store.
    Close Outlook and in Windows explorer open this path "%LOCALAPPDATA%\Zarafa\" and delete the folder "offlinedata" (without quotes). If you can't delete this folder, reboot your PC.
    Now restart Outlook. Outlook will rebuild your offline store - be patient.

    Pleas note this only works if you use an offline store (Caching mode).
