    php-mapi: MAPI error: 8004010f in /var/log/maillog

    Hello 2all,
since update from 7.1.11 to 7.1.12 this errors started to appear in /var/log/maillog.

    Apr 23 10:41:45 inhzzf1 php-mapi[1632]: MAPI error: 8004010f (method: zif_mapi_msgstore_entryidfromsourcekey, line: 1914)
    Apr 23 10:41:45 inhzzf1 php-mapi[1632]: MAPI error: 8004010f (method: zif_mapi_msgstore_entryidfromsourcekey, line: 1914)
    Apr 23 10:41:45 inhzzf1 php-mapi[1632]: MAPI error: 8004010f (method: zif_mapi_openproperty, line: 3731)
    Apr 23 10:41:45 inhzzf1 php-mapi[1632]: MAPI error: 8004010f (method: zif_mapi_openproperty, line: 3731)

Seems like the process-number is from httpd, so maybe its related to Webapp-Use. Maybe somebody has an idea, how to fix this?

    Regards,
    Zoki

    Hi,

AFAIK, ZCP-7.1.12's php-mapi introduced a php-mapi error log file. I would have said this could be the cause, but I'm a bit surprised that you mention /var/log/maillog and not some php-mapi-specific log file.

    Kind regards,

    Christian

Me too! Does anyone know where those error messages come from?

    Best regards,

After an upgrade to 7.1.13 I'm seeing this as well, this is our first release with php-mapi.cfg. I noticed the default for log_level in php-mapi.cfg is 5 (nominal maximum), I reduce to 2 and reloaded all services and the chatter has come some down but still present.

    Are these errors

    zarafa php-mapi[6077]: MAPI error: 8004010f (method: zif_mapi_openproperty, line: 3760)

consider "Normal"? Should we be concerned?

    Thanks,
    David

I can confirm I'm seeing this kind of traffic in my maillog, too, even though that log is not referenced in any of the config files. If you have the method set to syslog, it uses facility "mail" (noted in the config). That's why it ends up in maillog.

If you set it to file instead of syslog, it should go to the file you specify.

Probably not of too much help but I'm also getting the same error messages (also within syslog but I did set php as well as zarafa explicitly to log to syslog)

also - this might be totally unrelated - I get these:

As the PHP-Warning says webapp seems to include within limits.php line 2:

    yet util.php isn't located in /var/lib/zarafa-webapp/ but within the web servers www-root (e.g. /var/www/localhost/htdocs/zarafa-webapp/ ...)

Version in use here is latest beta (7.2.1 51665)

Bump. No response from Zarafa? We have been getting spammed by these since upgrading to 7.1.13 as well as 7.2.1 final. If these are truly innocuous can a JIRA issue be created to correct the log level?

Which PHP version are you using (and distro)? It looks to me that you are using your own package? (or an untarred sourcetarball?)

    Also which version of WebApp?
