We have fixed the offending queries to be more mariadb friendly instead of allowing signed results from subtractions. This makes sure we support MySQL and MariaDB with the same codebase. The code is...

    Kater,

In Zarafa 7.1 we have added a high-performance exporter to stream messages really quickly to the indexer (and other consumers). This makes use of a simple stored procedure in MySQL, which...

    One more thiing about #2

prepopulation is done on the server side when you create a user. So, you can't just re-activate your device. You have to remove the user, re-create the user and then...

Re: MySQL Write load with many z-push clients

innodb_flush_log_at_trx_commit should not make a difference on high-end systems since your battery-back-up on your SAN should be acknowledging fsyncs almost instantly

Re: MySQL Write load with many z-push clients

Oh, I thought this wel a digest of all queries.

You say you are not running z-push in push mode at 1 req per 15 minutes, that would normally result in 1 z-push request in about 15*60/500 = 1.8...

By the way, why are you using O_DIRECT for the flush method ?

I think it has some known performance problems with SANs

Re: MySQL Write load with many z-push clients

By the way, you could drop a line to [email protected], open a ticket there and have an engineer take a look at your system, that would probably be quickest.

Re: MySQL Write load with many z-push clients

That said, the write is insanely slow too. And you have only 0.28 queries per second doing writes, which should never result in 300 IOPS (more like 1!)

I'm really puzzled on how you can have 300...

Re: MySQL Write load with many z-push clients

Your system specs sound like they should be able to handle the load easily.

Comparing a linear copy (like table copy) operation with random write I/O is not really a fair comparison.

    500 IOPS...

Re: Big companies, other db's then mysql?

The idea of mariadb is that it is a drop-in replacement for mysql (it's actually mysql + patches).

So in theory, any mariadb should work with Zarafa. However, we have not tested it so your mileage...

Re: 7.0.1 beta => mails are gone ?!?

The SQL error is from the searchfolder rebuild.

Although that is a problem it should definately not cause any data loss. (Nor should any other change in 7.0.1 of course!)

Re: Calendar in Webaccess is shown like E-Mails

Well the table contains 'redundant' data, that's why a change on the folder re-created the data. I don't think the data was deleted, it just wasn't added into the table when it was supposed to.

Re: Calendar in Webaccess is shown like E-Mails
